Terms of Service

Astrolio is operated by [ФОП FULL NAME], a Ukrainian individual entrepreneur (фізична особа-підприємець, ФОП), registration number (РНОКПП) [ФОП REGISTRATION NUMBER / РНОКПП], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("Astrolio", "we", "us").

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal data we collect and how we use it — we do not repeat that here.

Astrolio is an online platform that connects clients with independent astrologers and tarot readers for paid consultations — scheduled sessions (chat or video), quick "Flash" questions, natal chart tools, and a public journal of articles written by astrologers on the platform.

We provide the technical platform, payment processing and escrow, scheduling, chat and video infrastructure, and moderation. The consultations themselves are delivered by independent specialists, not by Astrolio.

You must be an adult capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable law to use Astrolio.

Creating an account requires verifying a phone number, or signing in with a Google or Apple account. We do not offer a password-based sign-in.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your device and sign-in method secure, and tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Provide accurate information when you register and when you book a consultation — in particular, birth data you save for chart readings should be accurate, since it directly determines the accuracy of any reading based on it.

You may not: share contact or payment details with another user in order to pay outside the platform and avoid our fees or escrow protection; harass, threaten or abuse another user; impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or qualifications; upload unlawful, infringing or abusive content; or attempt to interfere with, disable or overload the platform.

You may not scrape, systematically extract, or use automated means (bots, crawlers, scripts) to access, copy or collect data from Astrolio — including astrologer profiles, reviews, journal articles, or pricing — beyond ordinary, manual use of the service as a human user. We may rate-limit, block or take other technical and legal measures against automated access that we have not separately authorized in writing.

Violating these Terms may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent closure of your account, at our discretion and proportionate to the violation.

Payment for a booking is charged at the time you book (or, for a Flash question, at the time you submit it) and held in escrow. Funds are released to the astrologer only after the consultation is completed, or after a dispute is resolved in the astrologer's favor.

Astrolio deducts a service fee from the amount paid out to the astrologer: 20% of the session price for verified astrologers, and 30% for astrologers who are not yet verified. The rate that applies is fixed at the time of booking and does not change afterwards, even if the astrologer's verification status changes later. This fee does not change the price you pay as a client — it is deducted on the astrologer's side.

Cancellations, refunds and what happens if a consultation does not take place are covered by our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Astrologers and tarot readers on Astrolio are independent specialists, not employees, contractors, or agents of Astrolio. They are solely responsible for the content and conduct of their own consultations; Astrolio does not review, edit or control the substance of the advice given.

To offer paid consultations, an astrologer must complete identity verification (currently a government-issued photo ID and a selfie, reviewed by our moderation team and an automated pre-screening check; in the future this may instead be completed through Diia, Ukraine's e-government identification service). We may decline or revoke verification at our discretion.

Earnings from completed consultations accumulate in the astrologer's Wallet, net of our service fee. An astrologer may add a payout method and request a payout of their available balance from the Wallet section of their account at any time, subject to their account being verified and in good standing and to any requirements of the payout method itself. Astrologers are responsible for their own tax and reporting obligations arising from their earnings on the platform.

Astrologers who publish journal articles retain ownership of what they write. By publishing on Astrolio, an astrologer grants us a license to host, display and distribute that content on the platform (including to signed-out visitors) for as long as it remains published.

Natal chart interpretations and similar generated readings are Astrolio's own content, provided for your personal, non-commercial use when you request a chart. You may not resell, republish, or systematically extract this content for another product or service.

Reviews, chat messages and other content you submit remain yours, but you grant us a license to use them as needed to operate the platform (for example, to display your review, or to review chat logs during a dispute you raise, as described in our Privacy Policy).

Some content and features on Astrolio are generated or assisted by artificial intelligence — including the AI consultant chat, pre-generated chart interpretations, the daily horoscope, mood-correlation insights, the support assistant, the card meanings in the free tarot spread, the descriptions in the free Human Design chart and in the Human Design tab of the consultation room, moderation of journal articles, and the automated pre-screening step during identity verification. Astrolio provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astrolio is not liable for the content, accuracy, or consequences of advice given by astrologers, who act independently of us, nor for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Ukrainian law, including liability arising from our own willful misconduct or gross negligence, or the statutory rights of consumers.

You may stop using Astrolio and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms, poses a security or fraud risk, or as required by law.

Sections that by their nature should survive account closure — including payment obligations already incurred, content licenses already granted, and limitation of liability — continue to apply after your account is closed.

These Terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not remove any protection you are entitled to under the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country where you live, if different.

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at [CONTACT EMAIL FOR LEGAL/COMPLAINTS] so we can try to resolve it directly. Disputes about a specific consultation between you and an astrologer are handled under our Refund Policy's complaint process, not as a legal dispute with Astrolio.

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date, and where a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance (for example, on the site or by email). Continuing to use Astrolio after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
